Tonight I was at the mall and they had a Wii booth. I think that they had 6 Wii demo units and everyone was having a blast Now just coming from Toys-R-Us and asking about their shipment today I was kind of irritated. People started lining up for the Wii units at Toys-R-Us 10:30pm the night before. You can't get these things and they are at the mall pushing them. Why not wait until they can have some on the shelves?
I am getting a bit excited about Lanageddon 2007 today. Prepaid today and picked a seat by some friends. It has been a long time since I have played any computer games so I likely will get owned. I might practice up a bit prior. We will see.
I went to memory express this afternoon to buy some ram and a hard drive. My game machine is a few years old, but was bleeding edge. So an extra gig of ram and a processor upgrade should shine it up enough to get by. If I could only find a matching BFG 7800 GTX
It is so funny John Dvorak can completely irritate me with some of his ill researched comments and then be right on with his next comment. It is almost like he spits out those irritating comments to drum up traffic to his blog and then keeps people coming back with the intelligent ones. Even though he can really piss me off I still end up going back to his blog several time per week. I wish I could stop but I can't and
it is maddening. After several years Mac's finally changed back to Coke slurpees from Pepsi. It was a sad day 5 or 6 years ago when they switched to Pepsi. Now I no longer have to drive several kms to the nearest 7-11. I can now walk to the local Macs. My slurpee consumption is going to spike 300%. Not sure that is a good thing but I am still happy.
This happened a while ago so it has taken until now for me to get over the pain.
"What word(s) do you always make a typo in?"
I am forever miss typing ahve instead of have. I bet I do this 20 times per day. I often do not correct it because it is starting to look normal. In general I have trouble with a s e & vs (I think)
First I wrapped up my BSF work early and then TWIT is out early. I am having a great Sunday evening.
I am not sure that it is a bad thing but it is harder to know the Vox community when there are thousands of users. I bet that a minute after I make this post it will be off of the front page. I used to like to watch the explore page to see who was posting. Now during prime time (or almost anytime) there are too many people posting. Sometime it is nice when you are a part of a smaller community.. you know "where everyone knows your name"
A co-worker lent me seasons one and two of The Office and now my wife and I are totally addicted. Unfortunately we have missed most of season three but I was able to sort of catch up via the official web site. My favorite part of the show are the pranks that Jim plays on Dwight. My wife probably thinks that the best aspect is the relationship between Pam and Jim.
As a result of my effort to catch up on season three I was once again reminded of the iTunes store limitations for users who reside outside the United States. WE CANT BUY TV SHOWS!! This sucks in a very big way. I guess Canada is too small of a market. I would of gladly paid for the older episodes, but know I have to resort to questionable means.
This is just wrong. I am willing to purchase the TV shows but they are not made available. Someone has to kick tv networks in the head. I would love to cancel Bell Expressvu subscription if IPTV was available.
I am finally trying the email posting functionality. Maybe it will help me to post more. I wonder how many people use this?
